What mp3fy does
mp3fy converts audio and video files that you supply, to MP3. You choose a file from your device, or a folder of them, and mp3fy re-encodes it. Most conversions run entirely inside your browser, so the file never leaves your computer. When a format is one your browser cannot read, you can upload the file and our servers convert it, then delete it right after.
What mp3fy does not do
- It does not download from YouTube or any other streaming platform.
- It does not fetch media from a URL. There is no address bar, no link field, and no import endpoint.
- It does not decrypt, strip, or work around DRM or any other technical protection measure.
- It does not search for, host, index, or distribute media. mp3fy has no catalogue and no library. Nothing is available on this site to download except the file you brought to it.
Your responsibility
Convert only files you own or have permission to convert. Copyright law applies to what you do with a file regardless of the tool you use, and a format change does not create a licence. If you are not sure whether you may convert something, do not convert it.
Reporting a concern
If you believe mp3fy is being used in a way that infringes your rights, write tocontact@mp3fy.com. Tell us what the material is and what your relationship to it is, and we will review it promptly. Because mp3fy stores nothing and publishes nothing, there is no hosted copy for us to remove, but we will act on anything within our control and answer every message.
